Anyone who knows me knows that regardless of what mood i am in there’s always a bit of R&B/Slow jams playing in my headphones, in my house or on my speaker at work. Call me a hopeless romantic but there’s just something about someone singing about how much they love you they really touches my soul!!! And don’t get me started on those heavy baselines, with the beautiful rifts there’s nothing not to love about it. I love music that makes you feel, music with substance in not only the lyrics but in the way the song is put together.

I guess my love for slow jams and r&b comes from my mum and dad. I grew up listening to the likes of Boys II Men, Whitney Huston and Luther vandross to mention a few. There was always soulful music playing through the house, whether my mum was cooking or cleaning up.
